 CMC Vellore PROSPECTUS AND APPLICATION :

Requests for Application and Prospectus will be considered from around mid April 2006 onwards. SELECTION TO ALL GROUP COURSES ARE SUBJECT TO THE OUTCOME OF THE JUDICIAL REVIEW IN PROGRESS BY THE HON'BLE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA.

1. Application forms and Prospectus may be obtained from the office of the Registrar on payment of Rs.300/- for candidates from India.Application form can be accessed on-line or through website on http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions/GROUPA.htm and submitted with a basic administrative fee of Rs 300/-.

2. Applications forms are also available by post from the office of the Registrar on payment of Rs. 500/-.Send the DD , the chalan or receipt to : The office of the Registrat, CMC, Thorapadi PO, Vellore 632002. State your full postal address with Pin –code. Mention your telephone number and email address if available.

Candidates applying from abroad (including SAARC countries) refer under item (F).

 The money may be remitted using any one of the following methods:
1) As a chalan at no extra cost at any branch of the ICICI Bank in India. Please mention FC-CMC-V on the chalan.
2) CMC Vellore Association chalan of the State Bank of India, Bagayam branch.
3) Demand draft in favour of "CMC Vellore Association" payable at State Bank of India (Branch code 2203) Bagayam Branch or any scheduled bank, payable at Vellore.

Send the DD or ORIGINAL Chalan or Receipt to: The Office of the Registrar, CMC, Thorapadi PO, Vellore 632002 with a letter requesting for the Prospectus and Application forms for Summer Admissions 2005. State your full postal address with Pin-code. Mention your telephone number and email address if available. No additional money, stamps or envelopes are required.

 Multiple choice questions with 5 options


 GROUP A COURSES :

This group of courses is offered after the 10+2 level and are affiliated to the University (except the Diploma in Nursing). They are also courses which are popular around the country and have attracted applicants from a wide geographical area. The entrance examination for the Degree courses is held jointly around the country in 16 centres including one abroad in Singapore. The Dip in Nursing entrance is held separately, again in up to 10 centres around the country depending on the demand. A candidate may apply for all the courses at a time.

 CMC Syllabus

The syllabus for the common entrance tests will be a mixture of ‘plus two’ level boards Papers will be in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General ability and a few questions on current topical interest.

Eligibity: A candidate for admission to medical course “ must have 60 % marks at +2 level in each of physics, chemistry and biology and have an aggregate of 140/200 in these subjects, both at qualifying and competitive exminations and should have passed in English “

All India Senior School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Central Board Secondary Education, New Delhi
