PreSET-
04 ( Detailed Analysis ) |
| |
The
crucial stage is finally here. The four thresholds have
successfully been surpassed and now you are all charged
to take up the challenge of the SET.
The
last and the final PreSET had a few surprises thrown in.
If you found the difficulty level a wee bit higher than
the previous papers, do not lose heart. Try to attempt all
the PreSETs once again and you will reach a new high in
your confidence levels.
Section
I lived up to its reputation of being moderately simple.
Most of the questions ranged from being easy to moderate.
This section comprised questions based on reading skills
and comprehending the questions based on the passage, usage
of grammar in spoken English, and testing your vocabulary
skills.
Section
II was essentially based on numbers, arithmetic, algebra
and geometry. This section was quite exhaustive but if you
have had mathematics upto 12+ level, solving this part of
the paper must have been a piece of cake.
Section
III, the most interesting and informative section on general
awareness, required a thorough knowledge of the latest news
and views, catching up on the past as well as the present
happenings in the business arena and the who’s who
around the world. Whew! That does require a lot of ‘Quality’
time spent in front of the television. Also, inculcating
a reading habit is very helpful in all walks of life.
Section
IV needed you to have all your wits about you as these questions
necessitated a logical flow of thoughts. Those questions
which were information based, required only common sense
to answer them. The difficulty level ranged from being easy
to moderate.
All
in all, attempting all these PreSETs would have definitely
boosted your morale. Career Forum wishes its students ‘All
the very Best’ for their endeavor in the forthcoming
SET exam.
Remember,
the sky’s the limit, so do not falter in your steps
to reach for the stars!
