Bangalore: For CET engineering counselling on Tuesday, 5,819 seats are available. Students holding ranks from 36,001 to 40,000 can select seats. Candidates whose choice of seats is not available needn’t attend the admission round. All candidates can attend the casual vacancy round.

5,100 Comed-K seats taken

Comed-K engineering counselling on Monday saw 5,100 seats snapped up. It was attended by 866 candidates. At the end of the day, 3,878 seats were available for general merit students, 113 for Christian minority, 76 for Tulu minority and 53 for Konkani minority.

61 PU students debarred

Sixty-one II PU students, who appeared for the supplementary examination on Monday, were debarred for indulging in malpractice.
